Festive mood in McLeodganj on John Abraham's marriage to local girl Priya

Dharamsala, January 4, 2014: Actor John Abraham's tweet confirmed the most awaited news in Mecleodganj (Dharamsala ), the home place of John Abraham--- Priya Runchal. Actor John Abraham's fans in Dharamsala broke into festive mood on Friday when news poured in that he had got married to Priya Runchal, who originally belongs to McLeodganj. The news broke out with a tweet by the actor, who mentioned Priya Runchal as Abraham. The tweet read: "Wishing you and your loved ones a blessed 2014! May this year bring you love, good fortune and joy. Love, John and Priya Abraham." The actor has been to Dharamsala many times in the past to visit his in-laws, but now most of them have settled in the US where John is holidaying these days.
Neighbours remained glued to television, trying to pick up news of the marriage and also distributed sweets. The Runchal family had earlier said that the marriage could be held in McLeodganj. John had visited McLeodganj last year to pay tribute to Priya's grandfather who died at the age of 101. Though, all family members are at present in the US, their near ones here told that the marriage was held in Los Angeles in a private ceremony. The family owns a hotel and has other businesses, property concerns in McLeodganj.
The actor's fans stated that they would arrange a special ceremony at the airport whenever the couple visits the place.
