Festivity and politics side by side
The countrymen are celebrating festivals these days. And on the other hand, elections to various assemblies are in progress. These elections have heated up atmosphere and political activities. These assembly elections have an importance because they are just few months before the coming parliament elections next year. The business class is expecting increase of volumes of their sales. And the political leaders and their parties are busy motivating the voters to vote for their respective parties and are busy framing allegations on each other vice versa.

With the revolution in Information and Technology the masses are forwarding there best wishes and greetings of festival celebrations to each other, flooding the mobiles with messages of greetings.
Changed market scenario
Earlier, in the past the masses used to go for purchasing of material to celebrate Diwali from the market but now a days the facilities of online shopping have changed the mode of these purchases. Mostly the people are purchasing gifts etc. through online and the punctuality of delivery of items through courier is also quite accurate and time bound. Most of the business houses have announced discount for their sale items to woo them and to boost their sales during Diwali festival. Most of items are in the market for sale manufactured in India paving way towards boosting Make in India products.
Make in India effect
Earlier, in the past the markets were flooded with imported LED lights which were available in the market are now at present flooded with Indian make LED Lights. India at present is manufacturing LED bulbs, these India-made decorative lights consume less power and are within the reach of everyone. Reputed Indian companies manufacturing electrical products have introduced number of new items to celebrate the festival of lights with full vigour.
Earthen diyas
The manufacturing of wax candles, earthen diyas have picked up in the market. The small-scale manufacturers manufacturing these products try to earn for their livelihood till the season of demand of earthen pots increases in the summer season.
From sweets to biscuits
In the present arena people are becoming health conscious and are well aware of the milk products expiry, they are changing their mode of purchases of gift items from sweets to biscuits which can be preserved for a longer period. The gifts of every range are available as per the pocket / purchasing power of the buyer. The middle-class families keeping in mind homely budget of Diwali celebrations expedite their funds keeping all the aspects in mind during the purchases of gifts.
