FICO demands reduction in petrol and diesel prices
Says the fuel prices are on the all-time high in the country
Ludhiana: Mr. Gurmeet Singh Kular President FICO (Federation of Industrial & Commercial Organization) demanded the Government to reduce the Petrol and Diesel prices, as the crude oil prices have been reduced globally. It is notable that State-run oil marketing companies (OMCs) cut price of petrol by 18 paisa and diesel by 17 paisa on the back of lower crude oil prices that have tumbled from $70 a barrel on March 11 to $60 a barrel on March 23. The benefit should be passed on to the consumers as the fuel prices are on the all time high in the country and having adverse effect on the growth of economy.
