Ludhiana, October 17, 2018: Federation of Industrial & Commercial Organization(FICO) has opposed the decision of Punjab Government to reduce the limit for e-Way Bill from 100000 to 50000, for certain categories.
K.K.Seth, Chairman and Gurmeet Singh Kular, President, FICO said that It is the need of the hour to relax the rules of e-Way billing for movement of goods, otherwise the MSME sector will become unviable because most of them do not have the proper infrastructure and the Information Technology Department. Moreover, the reduction in limit will only result in competition with in Punjab, rather than the competition with other states.
