FIFTH ODI: Anurag Thakur performs “puja” praying for clear weather

Dharamsala, January 24, 2013: Worried over the unpredictable weather in the region, the HPCA president Anurag Thakur visited temple of local deity- the “serpent god”- Indrunag and performed a “Puja” praying for a clear weather.

The fifth and final One Day International (ODI) match is scheduled to be held at the HPCA stadium here on January 27.

India and England cricket teams have already reached the town this afternoon.

It is worth mentioning that earlier too, the HPCA had been regularly performing “Puja”  (worship) at the temple during IPL matches praying the Indrunag for clear weather. And this practice has been proved successful on all the occasions.
