Film on "Banks of River Sutlej – Ludhiana Profoundness of Nature" dedicated to World Rivers Day 2024 released in Ludhiana

Ludhiana, September 22, 2024: To highlight the beauty and significance of River Sutlej, which is considered as lifeline of Ludhiana as it supports agriculture, wildlife, plantation and human communities and serves as home to some of the most diverse aquatic species, a Short Documentary film titled "Banks of River Sutlej - Ludhiana Profoundness of Nature" dedicated to World Rivers Day 2024 was released as a gift for the citizens of Ludhiana to witness River Sutlej adjacent to Ludhiana City, depicting mesmerizing natural scenic locations around banks of River Sutlej adjacent bringing alive the beautiful panoramic view of densely populated trees and the sparkling flow of waters of River Sutlej Ludhiana.

The Documentary film prepared by Ludhiana based eminent Nature Artist, Advocate Harpreet Sandhu will be of great interest amongst citizens of Ludhiana and particularly the youngsters as it beautifully  projects the unique scenic location of Nature that has till now has been remained unnoticed by the people of Ludhiana. The film marks the day on eve of World Rivers Day showcasing critical role rivers play in sustaining life on Earth

Film Director Harpreet Sandhu stated that the his sole aim to make this short film is to inspire the people of Ludhiana to be more mindful of surrounding nature and inspire them to preserve Rivers as they play critical role in sustaining life on Earth as rivers are not only vital sources of freshwater but also support a diverse range of ecosystems and provide economic value through fisheries, transportation, tourism etc.  

Ludhiana’s eminent Dental Doctor and passionate photographer Dr. Vivek Saggar who has also been instrumental in supporting the short documentary film portraying River Sutlej Ludhiana said that we all need to promote the theme of World Rivers Day 2024 "Waterways of Life" as it underscores the essential role rivers play in supporting wildlife, agriculture, and human activities and serve as home to some of the most diverse and endangered species, moreover they are the arteries of our planet.
