Heritage film on Maharaja Duleep Singh memorial of Punjab tourism was released at the festival of Thetford & Punjab in England. Essex Cultural Diversity Project UK. The film show causes the link of Maharaja Duleep Singh with this historical monument which is situated in Punjab India having magnificent museum which is replica of what the East of England Heritage trail depicts in Elvenden. The film was previewed in the St. Patrics Church, Elvenden, London and was witnessed by more than 100 people gathering of the British & Indian community settled in UK. Peter Bance, Eminent Global Historian, Researcher & Sikh fellow based in England along with Director of the Essex Cultural Diversity Project during a special event held at Thetford, England where Punjab's eminent Author, Nature Artist Heritage Promoter Harpreet Sandhu was specially invited, Harpreet Sandhu highlighted the significance of the 200 year old Heritage monument "Bassian Kothi" a Punjab tourism site within the audience present during the screening of film, “Last Evening of the Last Sikh Emperor on the Land of Punjab", Sandhu presented portrait of Maharaja Dilip Singh for the Essex Cultural Diversity Project on behalf of Punjab which was applauded.
A very meaningful pictorial brochure which has been compiled by Harpreet Sandhu having symbol of Punjab tourism was also gracefully released by Peter Bance along with Indi Sandhu, Director Essex Cultural Diversity Project and few prominent personalities of Indian community based in United Kingdom during the film screening event.
The pictorial brochure was much acknowledge and appreciated by each and every person who was present to preview the film and it was distributed by the director of the Essex Cultural Diversity Project within the audience as it has been for the first time the people of England and particularly our Indian Punjabi community has come to know that Maharaj Duleep Singh has a relevant historic monument in Punjab in India so through this film and pictorial brochure highlighting the Punjab tourism historical site "Bassian Kothi" having relevance with Maharaja Duleep Singh, now as and when the people of Punjabi community based in England will visit Punjab they will definitely go and have the glimpse of this magnificent Punjab tourism monument which was recently also highlighted during the World Heritage Day 2023 by Punjab's eminent Nature Artist Harpreet Sandhu in collaboration with Punjab tourism. Harpreet Sandhu has made Punjab tourism on the on the map of Maharaja Dilip Singh memorial park which is in Thetford where very magnificent statue of Maharaja Dilip Singh has been installed, where Harpreet Sandhu shared the Punjab tourism site.
Sandhu also visited the ancient house of Maharaja Dilip Singh he addressed the audience and placed his informative Pictorial brochures for the visitors from across the globe who visit the place with aim to promote the significance of the Heritage monument "Bassian Kothi" related to Maharaja Duleep Singh in Punjab.
Harpreet Sandhu also visited the grave of Maharaja Duleep Singh and paid homage to the last Sikh Maharaja.
So, it has been the Heritage international exchange of the Maharaja Dilip Singh's significant Punjab tourism monument in Punjab India at the Festival of Thetford and Punjab dedicated to 130th Death Anniversary of Maharaja Duleep Singh in United Kingdom. This way Punjab's tourism site of Maharaja Duleep Singh for the first time has been highlighted in England. Peter Bance, Indi Sandhu Director Essex Cultural Diversity Project and other prominent personalities present during the screening of film appreciated the Herculean efforts of Harpreet Sandhu for coming all the way from India and participating in the festival of Thetford and Punjab to promote the Punjab tourism site "Bassian Kothi" having historical relevance with Maharaja Duleep Singh, which was seldom known within Punjabi community based in England. They further stated that Mr. Sandhu is an Ambassador of Cultural Heritage as his film and pictorial work is an eye opener for the Punjabi community settled in England who came to know about the 200-year-old Historical Monument "Bassian Kothi" situated in Punjab which has relevance with Maharaja Duleep Singh.
