Final day of faculty development programme at GNDU College

Jalandhar, December 29, 2014: The Day of Goal Completion and Achievement has arrived. The Faculty Development Programme completed its journey today at G.N.D.U.College, Ladowali Road, Jalandhar. With the combined efforts of all the members, the Programme turned to be a great success as tremendous increase in the knowledge level of the faculty, will help to build the upcoming entrepreneurs in the industry. 

The 12th day started with a detailed speech on ‘Six Sigma’ by Amit Chadha (an Industrial Consultant), who believes ‘The only constant in life is change’. He is a person with a lot of passion and commitment for his work. He said ‘Entrepreneurship is to lead from the front’ and ‘Entrepreneurs survive on their customers’ satisfaction’. Dr.Ashish Arora (Associate Professor, GNDU College, Jalandhar) inspired the members to start Entrepreneurial Development Cells in their organisation, which would help students to develop the entrepreneurial skills. He directed ‘The Road Ahead’ and requested the members to forward the learning to their concerned organisations for the future betterment in academics. Last and the closing session of ‘Valedictory and Feedback’ were taken by Dr. Amarjit Sidhu (Professor, GNDU Amritsar), who handed the certificates to the members for their participation. He acknowledged Prof. M.J. Kalra and Dr. Ashish Arora for their initiative to start the FDP Programme and compile it in a fruitful manner.
