Final day of camp begins on religious note

Jalandhar: Seven-Day NSS Camp, concluded today at Lyallpur Khalsa College, Jalandhar witnessing an active participation of volunteer students. 

The final day of the camp began on a religious note seeking blessings from the almighty followed by a cleanliness drive in the College library. Principal Dr. Gurpinder Singh Samra was the chief guest on this occasion and he was duly welcomed by Dr. Tarsem Singh, NSS Coordinator and his team. 

Participant students presented their thoughts by virtue of poems, folk songs and orations. Dr. Tarsem Singh, NSS Coordinator presented the impressive program report of the aforementioned camp spanning 7 days whilst a PPT was also displayed on the same. Speaking on the occasion, 

Principal Dr Gurpinder Singh Samra appreciated the efforts put forth by the volunteers of NSS Camp with dedication towards social causes and responsibilities especially in villages Bolina Doaba and Johlan. 
Dr Samra also urged the volunteers to take inspiration from the virtue of hard work as given by Sri Guru Nanak Dev ji. This was followed by distribution of certificates and trophies to all the participants while selective students namely, Rupinder Kaur, Pritam, Sahil and Neerja, were honored as best performing volunteers. 

Dr. Tarsem Singh, NSS Coordinator supervised the entirety of camp events with due assistance from his team of program officers comprising Dr. Priyank Sharda, Dr. Amandeep Kaur, Dr. Navneet Arora and Prof. Satpal Singh. The concluding day of the camp also saw the presence of Prof Prabh Dyal, Dean Student Welfare and Dr Harjit Singh.
