Final Randomisation of polling booths held
In view of upcoming MCs elections on December 21, the final randomisation of polling booths was held at NIC office, here today. The randomisation was held in the presence of District Election Officer-cum-Deputy Commissioner Jitendra Jorwal.
Ludhiana, December 19, 2024: In view of upcoming MCs elections on December 21, the final randomisation of polling booths was held at NIC office, here today. The randomisation was held in the presence of District Election Officer-cum-Deputy Commissioner Jitendra Jorwal.
Deputy Commissioner stated that a total 1296 polling booths have been established for elections of 95 wards in Municipal Corporation Ludhiana (MCL), 15 wards in the Machhiwara and Sahnewal Municipal Councils, 13 wards in Municipal Council Mullanpur, 11 wards in the Nagar Panchayat Malaud, and one ward in each of Municipal Council Khanna and the Municipal Council Samrala. The randomisation has been carried out through a dedicated software developed by NIC.
Additional Deputy Commissioners Amarjit Bains, Rohit Gupta and others were also present during the randomisation.
