Finance professional, Neha Julka leaves cushy corporate career, to mentor married women in glamour industry

Chandigarh, November 25, 2019: City’s Neha Julka Arora had a great career ahead of her in the corporate world. But a routine corporate life was not her calling. Neha a professionally qualified company secretary, lawyer and post graduate in finance & HR left her job with a well known MNC, to carve out a niche for her-self in what she had always dreamt of and believed in – giving a platform to married women to showcase their creativity, talent and personality and enter the glamour world.
Neha Julka Arora said, “After marriage I had the freedom to participate in beauty pageants and my husband always supported me. My dream of winning a beauty pageant came true when I was crowned as Mrs. Punjab Pride of Nation in 2016. This was a turning point for me.”
Added Neha, “I strongly felt that there was a vacuum when it came to availability of a proper professional platform for married women, to enter the glamour world. Seeing a need for such a platform I founded ‘Mrs. Chandigarh- a woman of substance' a beauty pageant which has now become an annual property, that helps women realize their true worth. With the pageant the lack of opportunities for tricity’s married women is now a thing of the past.”
Neha was interacting with media on the sidelines of Chandigarh auditions of ‘Mrs. Chandigarh - a woman of substance 2019’, which is being organized by Bombshell Creations – the umbrella organization under which the event is held every year.
Neha Julka Arora, who’s the brand ambassador and founder of the pageant further said, “There is still a big challenge as many families do not encourage women to be part of any beauty pageants, but things however are changing with professional platforms like ours. We at Bombshell Creations conduct the pageants in a well coordinated way where women from different walks of life can come and participate with dignity.”
Neha Julka Arora, is now a role model of many women, who want to come out of their humdrum existence and make a name in the glamour world.
Her compassion for women and to serve humanity inspired her to start a social initiative ‘Paree Aid’. Neha revealed that under ‘Paree Aid’ social events for helping weaker sections of society and spreading awareness among slum women on menstrual hygiene were conducted.
While talking about the auditions, Neha said, “Bombshell Creations believes in giving an identity to women in today's competitive world. The pageant is a wonderful opportunity for all beautiful and married women to showcase their talent and make their dreams come true.”
The Chandigarh auditions of ‘Mrs Chandigarh a woman of substance’ were conducted successfully with an eminent panel of judges in attendance. Apart from Neha Julka the panel boasted of famous radio jockey Geet, Mohita Saxena , Founder of Chandigarh Mom Tribe –tricity’s first motherhood community, Honey Grewal, Founder , ‘Soul Grounding’ and Dr Ranjana Garg, 2nd Runner up title winner of ‘Mrs. Chandigarh, a woman of substance 2018. As many as 26 contestants participated in the auditions which comprised of two rounds. Round 1 was of introduction and ramp walk while in round 2 the contestants showed their talent by performing a dance, singing a song etc.
Neha summed up, “We are committed to grooming all our contestants in such a way that they not only set an example with their achievements, but also become role model for others.”
