Fine Arts Department of HMV Collegiate School organized exhibition

Jalandhar, November 17, 2021: Having 108 subjects combinations in Arts Faculty, HMV Collegiate Sr. Sec. School, Jalandhar promotes empowering of inner potential of the students pertaining to each one’s aptitude and interest. From all the skill based courses, Fine Arts is one such subjects that refines the aesthetic skills of the students in sketching, portrait making etc. In accordance with this, the Fine Arts Department of HMV Collegiate School organized an exhibition under the able stewardship of the Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen to exhibit the creative works of the students in the form of paintings and portraits. Students of SSC-I and SSC-II displayed their artistic skills with their captivating and enhancing works. Their works covered various aspects of animal study i.e. beautiful pictures of animals and birds. The beauty of nature is glorified in different landscapes and postcard painting. Along with them, the students exhibited portraits too in which the portrait of Amrita Pritam deserved special applause. The students also created designs on waste newspaper which were the most appreciable part of their artistic skills.

Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen gleefully appreciated the efforts and creative skills of young students who have the keen perception to analyze the depth of human emotions and show them in vibrant colours. She motivated them to keep sharpening their skills. School Coordinator Mrs. Meenakshi Sayal congratulated the students by saying that a picture carries thousand words in it and displays the profound emotions of the artist. She apprised that these events prove to be the perfect platform for the students to exhibit their latent talent. The exhibition was organized by Ms. Gurdeep Kaur of Fine Arts Department.
