FIRE Breaks out on ‘Aaj Ki Housewife Hai … Sab Jaanti Hai’ sets

All hell broke loose this morning on the sets of Zee TV’s ‘Aaj Ki Housewife Hai … Sab Jaanti Hai’ as a fire broke out following a short circuit. Fortunately, none of the cast members were present on the sets when the fire broke out. Given that the extent of damage to the sets is significant, the crew of the show has shifted to another location temporarily for its shoot.

Producer Gulshan Sachdeva said, “The fire broke out very early in the morning at about 5:30 AM. They were just 3-4 members of the crew present on the sets at that time. Since they were also sleeping, we do not have a clear picture of what was the exact trigger. My source of relief comes in the fact that there were absolutely no casualties. A fire brigade was called immediately but from amongst everything at the property, we could only salvage one camera. Everything from the set elements, props to the lights, from costumes and jewellery to the kitchen area with all its appliances, technical equipment, computers, etc was all destroyed. It’s a monumental loss but thankfully, nobody was hurt!”

However, in true showbiz style, ‘The show must go on’! Mr. Sachdeva adds, “The crew has shifted to another adjacent location – the sets of another show, where the shoot will be temporarily carried on.”
