First circular announcing schedule and inviting participation in CHASCON-2023 released

Chandigarh, July 11, 2023: The first circular announcing the schedule and inviting participation in CHASCON-2023 was released today by Prof. Renu Vig, Honourable Vice Chancellor, Panjab University, Chandigarh.

The Chandigarh Science Congress (CHASCON) is an annual event, initiated in 2007 and organised by Panjab University in collaboration with the Chandigarh Region Innovation and Knowledge Cluster (CRIKC). In it’s 16th avatar, CHASCON has acquired a national character and is scheduled to be held this year from October 12 - 14 on the theme of "Global Science for Global Wellbeing"

The event will include plenary lectures, panel discussions, oral and poster presentations, scientific exhibition and industry-academia interactions aimed at establishing closer linkages and interactions among academia, industry and policy makers. Prof. Harsh Nayyar, Director, Research and Development Cell, Panjab University, Chandigarh, Prof. Navdeep Goyal, Dean Science Faculty, Prof. Rajat Sandhir, Fellow PU, Professor Anu Gupta, Director, Computer Centre, Professor Gaurav Verma, CRIKC coordinator, Prof. G R Chaudhary, Director, CIL/SAIF, Prof. Neena Capalash, Co-ordinator, CHASCON-2023 and members of the organising committee were also present on the occasion.
