First to cast vote in Gill 66, Ludhiana constituency attains certificate by ARO

Ludhiana, June 1, 2024: City based Author & Former Additional Advocate General Punjab Harpreet Sandhu who happened to be the first voter at the designated Polling Booth no 237 in Govt Primary School of Gill 66, Ludhiana was given certificate for casting vote as first voter in Gill 66, Ludhiana, Parliamentary Constituency by the Assistant Returning Officer.

Harpreet Sandhu stated that this is an innovative step initiated by Election Commission of India to encourage punctuality amongst the respective voters to cast vote on time as he was the first voter in Polling Booth no 237, while holding up his certificate which was given to him by Assistant Returning Officer.
