FLO Hosts Empowering Session on 'Fearless Femininity' with Actress Shefali Shah

Bengaluru, April 21, 2025: FLO, the women’s wing of the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI), hosted an inspiring session titled Fearless Femininity: The Power of Voice, Vision & Versatility with the objective of sparking candid conversations around the inner strength of women, dismantling gendered stereotypes, and redefining what it means to lead with authenticity in both personal and professional spheres. The event featured a heartfelt conversation with Emmy-nominated and award-winning Bollywood actress Shefali Shah, sharing invaluable insights with nearly 500 attendees, creating an unforgettable atmosphere of warmth and energy. 

The event was a powerful celebration of womanhood, voice, and strength. The 90-minute session beautifully exemplified the grace, respect, and genuine curiosity that define our FLO community. Shefali Shah’s insights during the session left the audience with powerful lessons that truly resonated. She emphasized that true fearlessness begins with acknowledging fear, encouraging us to face our fears head-on as a means of transforming challenges into opportunities for growth. Also highlighted the importance of maintaining calm, composed communication, especially when we approach situations with confidence and clarity. In her reflections on motherhood, Shefali urged women to avoid falling into the trap of martyrdom, stressing that self-compassion and self-preservation are key. She encouraged women to seek balance, rather than striving for perfection, to lead fulfilling lives.
