FLOOD WATER ENTERED GURDWARA SAHIB OF VILLAGE GUDAIKE, LALJIT SINGH BHULLAR CARRIED SRI GURU GRANTH SAHIB ON HIS HEAD AND BROUGHT TO A SAFER PLACE
CABINET MINISTER BOARDED BOAT TO BRING OUT FAMILIES STUCK IN THE RIVER SAFELY

Punjab Cabinet Minister S. Laljit Singh Bhullar has been continuously serving the people of Patti Constituency since two days. Today, when flood water entered the Gurdwara Sahib of village Gudaike, Cabinet Minister S. Laljit Singh Bhullar reached the Gurdwara Sahib and carried Sri Guru Granth Sahib on his head and brought the 'Shabad Guru' to a safer place.
Similarly, Bhullar boarded the boat and reached the families stranded in the river and safely evacuated six families of village Gharrum and Basti Lal Singh.
S. Laljit Singh Bhullar is consistently supervising the relief operations to bring the people to safe places in the low-lying areas of river Sutlej which have been hit by the flood water. Cabinet Minister Bhullar, along with Deputy Commissioner Tarn Taran Mrs. Baldeep Kaur and SSP Mr. Gurmeet Singh Chauhan has been visiting the Harike headworks and Dhusi Dam, besides continuously checking the water level by visiting the flood affected villages.
Earlier in the morning, Bhullar reached the Dhusi Dam, and saved the dam from breaking with the support of people. He instructed the officials to speed up the relief work.
The Cabinet Minister had visited village Kott Budha, Muthianwala, Seeto Mah Jhugian, Radhalke, Bhangala, Toot, Jhugian Pir Baksh, Ram Singh Wala, Jhugian Natha Singh and Jhugian Noor Muhammad, Dumni Wala, Jalloke, Baowal, Bajhoke, Balladke, Rasoolpur, Talwandi Mohar Singh, Killa Patti, Bangla Rai, which were affected by torrential rains, where he listened to the problems of the affected local folks, and instructed the officials to assist the affected people and farmers from all perspectives.
