Jalandhar, March 9, 2015: Ivy World School, Jalandhar hosted the 1st round of “Indian Idol” qualifying performances. Thirty two students qualified to participate in the 2nd round from amongst Ivyians. The judgment was difficult due to a flood of talent and wonderful performances put up by the students. Vying with each other for a chance to go into the next round. Thirty two of the best were selected with Jaspratap Singh of G-8 showing exceptional promise with his melodious voice and enthralled all present at the audition. The judges were highly impressed. He was awarded a direct entry into the 2nd round despite not being trained in vocal music.

 The other gems who qualified are Abhineet Kelly of G-6, Sukhmani Kooner of G-8, Kavya Prakash of G-1, Kartikey Vasal of G-2, Tanishka Sharma of G-2, Vaibhav Klair of G-3, Dashmeet Bains of G-8.

Addressing the selected Ivyians, S. Chauhan, Principal of Ivy World School, stated that it was thrilling and energising to see so much talent amongst Ivyians to participate on such a big platform. It was truly a passage to fame.
