Patna, December 14, 2018: Celebrity designer Nidhi Yasha who hails from Patna and is a popular bollywood costume designer and owner of the internationally acclaimed design house “The NY Studio” which houses the fashion label Nidhi Yasha. Nidhi was felicitated at Alma Mater St.Joseph’s convent high school with the title of “distinguished achiever” by the Alumni association of Josephites (AAJ). She visited Patna, her hometown, to address students at both St. Joseph’s and NIFT Patna.

The event at her school early in early morning saw a huge gathering of young delightful and keen students waiting for Nidhi to speak to them. Nidhi was felicitated by her school authorities on stage while the young students watched and cheered for her. After the event Nidhi met the school authorities as well as the students who had a lot of questions to ask the celebrity designer. Post the event, Nidhi conducted an interactive session at NIFT Patna. The session was open for students from other institutes too.

When contacted Ms. Nidhi was extremely grateful and humbled by the honor and said, “When it comes to your Alma mater felicitating you it is almost like your parents finally acknowledging your efforts, and it is the mightiest of all honors. I am extremely happy that the school took note of my journey and hoped it will encourage young design aspirants to follow their dreams with more conviction. The state known for its prowess and command in the technical fields can also boast of creative arts and careers in abundance with institutes of excellence like SJC and NIFT educating future generations with the vivid scope of opportunities in these fields. Watching these young talents and coming back to school is very nostalgic and gives me a reason to encourage and empower. I believe any talent from whichever part of the state is special and if he or she has the ability, they should get the support from their parents and school. Patna in itself is a hub of talents and we should make our city and nation proud”.
