Former Congress Big wigs Join BJP in Jalandhar

Jalandhar, December 5, 2017: Senior Congress leader and former councillor Darshan Singh and former Congress Councillor Anoop Kaur today joined Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the presence of BJP senior leader and former state president Manoranjan Kalia, BJP state secretary Anil Sacher, BJP Punjab spokesperson Rajat Mohindru and BJP senior leader Amarjit Singh Amri.
At a press conference, Kalia welcomed Congress leaders into the party fold.
Darshan Singh and Anoop Kaur told the media persons that they worked with full vigour in the Congress. However, they along with their supporters were now joining the BJP.
Rajesh Jain, Vijay Kalia, Varinder Sharma, Ritu Raj Moti, Vinay Sabharwal, Ashish Chopra, Rajan Kalia, Baljeet Singh and others were present.
