Former President of Mongolia Nambaryn Enkhbayar visited Lovely Professional University
The 3rd President of Mongolia, Nambaryn Enkhbayar, visited Lovely Professional University (LPU), where he interacted with Mongolian students studying at LPU Campus in varied programmes. Ganbold Dambajav, Ambassador of Mongolia to India, was accompanying him during this graceful occasion.
Jalandhar, August 14, 2023: The 3rd President of Mongolia, Nambaryn Enkhbayar, visited Lovely Professional University (LPU), where he interacted with Mongolian students studying at LPU Campus in varied programmes. Ganbold Dambajav, Ambassador of Mongolia to India, was accompanying him during this graceful occasion.
Nambaryn Enkhbayar is the first person to have held all of the top three positions in the Mongolian government-as the Prime Minister of Mongolia (2000 to 2004); Speaker of the Parliament (2004 to 2005); and, as President of Mongolia (2005 to 2009). The high-profiled Mongolian delegation was welcomed by LPU’s Pro Chancellor Rashmi Mittal and Vice President Dr Aman Mittal. The meeting witnessed significant discussions that would enrich students of the two countries, Mongolia & India, with remarkable academic opportunities.
During hours of interaction with Mongolian students, former President of Mongolia Nambaryn Enkhbayar shared about his versatile experiences in the arenas of international education, politics and administration. Being a student of languages and literature, he conveyed to students to always be hard-working to achieve their goals. He also appreciated the international study environment at LPU campus. On this occasion, his daughter Rinchinlkham Enkhbayar was also accompanying.
Dr Aman Mittal shared that LPU is a diverse and inclusive university, and it values the different perspectives and experiences that students from different cultures bring to the campus. The university encourages interaction and collaboration among its students, regardless of their backgrounds. He also informed that LPU is already collaborating with Mongolian Government for training its students on innovative IT skills and other projects.
