Former UGC chairperson, Dr. Ved Prakash shares success mantra with MDU students.

Rohtak, September 26, 2024. The road to success in life has to be traversed through the path of knowledge and the path of action. Emphasizing the importance of goal setting and walking steadily on the path to achieve the goal(s) with a focussed approach, the mantra to achieve success in life was shared by eminent academician, former chairperson, University Grants Commission (UGC) Dr. Ved Prakash in the Distinguished Lecture Programme organized in Maharshi Dayanand University (MDU) today.

Dr. Ved Prakash gave an inspiring talk on the topic ‘SUCCESS IN LIFE’ today. In his address, suffused with inspiring examples, Dr. Ved Prakash urged upon the students to NEVER GIVE UP in life. He said to achieve our life goal(s), we must be ready to sweat out, ready to perspire in action. Dr. Ved Prakash said that knowledge and education are the key to empowerment in life. He asked the students to inculcate moral, ethical as well as liberal, democratic and constitutional values in life. He exhorted the students to contribute towards the cause of social harmony and national integration.

MDU Vice chancellor Prof. Rajbir Singh in his welcome address said that though success is a relative term, yet students must sharpen their skills to achieve professional success. He said that this programme would facilitate capacity building of the faculty as well as the students.

Dean, Academic Affairs Prof. A.S. Maan expressed the gratitude of the speakers. He said that ethical means should be followed to achieve career and life goals. Earlier, Dean, (R&D) Prof. Arun Nanda introduced the invited eminent speaker Dr. Ved Prakash. The programme was conducted by Director, CCPC Prof. Divya Malhan. Dean, Students’ Welfare Prof. Randeep Rana, Deans of Faculties, HODs, faculty members, research scholars, students were present in the Distinguished Lecture Programme organized in Tagore Auditorium.
