Foundation stone laid in Laws Department of PU
Three storey structures will be built with three class rooms
Chandigarh: Ground breaking ceremony with bhoomi pooja shalokas chanted by Prof Shankarji Jha, Dean University Instruction and Officiating Vice Chancellor in the presence of Prof. Kulwant Gill, former Chairperson Department of Laws, her sister Rakbir Kaur and her nephew Jaitej Partap, Prof Karamjeet, Registrar, Prof Meenu Paul, Chairperson, Mr RK Rai, XEN, Dr Muneishwar Joshi, Secretary to Vice Chancellor and faculty members from Laws, was held here today at the Department of Laws.
Prof Gill donated 54 lacs for construction of the said rooms in the memory of her brother. Three storey structures will be built with three class rooms having capacity of 60-70 students each. It will take around 8-9 months to complete the work.
