Four arrested under Narcotics Act in Kangra
The accused include an IAS aspirant woman
Dharamshala: Four including a young woman were arrested with 8.38 grams of heroin and 1102 narcotic capsules in Bhadroya village under Damtal Police Station of District Kangra. The 23-years-old woman is a civil engineer and preparing herself for IAS Exam.
Describing this, the Thana - in-charge Damtal, Harish Guleria said that when he was on routine patrol, a car was seen suspicious and it was forcibly stopped after a chase, after a search 8.38 grams of heroin and 1102 narcotic capsules were recovered from its dashboard.
He said that all four accused including three young men and a young woman were from good educated families. The accused have been arrested under Narcotics Act and were produced in the Court at Indaura from where they have been sent on 3 day police remand.
He said that further investigation in this regard is on.
Police official said that a case has been registered against one woman of Sidhpur area in Dharamshala who got her job in the IT Department of DC Office producing a fraud degree of her study.
