Free artificial limbs distribution camp held in Ludhiana

Ludhiana: Bharat Vikas Parishad Charitable Trust Punjab & Bharat Vikas Parishad Tagore Branch in association with Northampton Punjabi Association Organized Free Mega Artificial Limbs Distribution Camp at Divyang Sahayata Kender, Rishi Nagar, 

Artificial Limbs, Calipers, Crutches, Tricycle & hearing aid were given to 44 physically challenged persons. Camp was inaugurated by lighting a lamp by Sh. Surinder Matharu & members of Bharat Vikas Parishad. 

Surinder Matharu of Northampton Punjabi Association said that their NGO will continue to associate for holding such camps in future also. They were very much impressed with the work done by Bharat Vikas Parishad for providing aids & appliances to the physically handicapped persons & assured all help for such a noble cause.

On this occasion Suman Gupta, Secretary, Trust informed that Trust has organized 1388 camps in which Artificial limbs, Calipers, Crutches, Tricycle & Hearing aids have been provided to more than 57534 physically handicapped persons. She further said that the Trust has also organized 178 Polio Surgery Camps, in which 2812 polio operations have been done successfully. 

Narinder Mittal, President Trust, Ajay Sharma, Neelam Gupta, Aruna Puri, A.L Chugh, Puranchand, members of Bharat Vikas Parishad were present on this occasion.
