Free Artificial Limbs Distribution Camp held in Ludhiana

Ludhiana, April 21, 2019: Free Artificial limbs distribution camp was organized by Lions Club Ludhiana Vishal in cooperation with Bharat Vikas Parishad Charitable Trust Punjab today at Viklang Shayata Kendre, Rishi Nagar, Ludhiana in which Artificial limbs, Calipers, Try Cycle & Hearing aids were given to 20 physically handicapped persons. Lion Birinder Singh Sohal, District Governor was the Chief Guest on this occasion. Lion CA Rajnish Goyal, President welcomed the Lion Members officials of Bharat Vikas Parishad and other dignitaries who graced the function. Sh. Anil Bansal & Sh. Krishan Gopal Aggarwal were the Guest of Honour on this occasion and were main sponsorer of this project. Members of Lions Club Ludhiana Vishal were very much impressed with the work done by Bharat Vikas Parishad for providing aids & appliances to the physically handicapped persons & assured all help for such a noble cause. Smt. Suman Gupta, Secretary Trust told that since 1996 Trust has organized 1307 camps in which artificial limbs, Calipers, Crutches, Tricycle & Hearing aids have been provided to more than 54756 physically handicapped persons. The Trust has also organized Polio Surgery Camps, in which 2675 polio operations have been done successfully. Lion CA Rajnish Goyal, President told that their club has been organizing Eye, Diabetic, & Dental Check up Camp in the past along with distribution of School uniform and Utility article to the poor needy children.
