Free artificial limbs distribution camp on international day of persons with disabilities

Ludhiana, December 3, 2019: On the Occasion of International Day of persons With Disabilities, Bharat Vikas Parishad Shiva Ji Branch in cooperation with Bharat Vikas Parishad Charitable Trust Punjab Ludhiana organised free artificial limbs distribution camp at Viklang Sahayta Kender, Rishi Nagar, Ludhiana.

Artificial limbs, calipers, crutches, tricycle & hearing aid were given to 15 physically challenged persons free of cost.

On this Occasion Sh.M.K Sirivastva-HR Admn., Vardhman Spl.Steels & Smt.Inderpreet Kaur DSSO were the Chief Guest. They were very much impressed with the work done by Bharat Vikas Parishad for providing aids & appliances to the physically handicapped persons & assured all help for such a noble cause.

Smt. Suman Gupta Secretary informed that Trust has organized 1372 camps in which Artificial limbs, Calipers, Crutches, Tricycle & Hearing aids have been provided to more than 56981 physically challenged persons. She further said that the Trust has also organized Polio Surgery Camps, in which 2781 polio operations have been done successfully. The Trust is also running a policlinic on charitable rates in which patients are treated by Allopathy, Physiotherapy, Acupressure, Acupuncture, Homeopathy & Ayurveda.
