Free, fair & peaceful panchayat elections will be ensured in Ludhiana: Dr Harjinder Singh

Ludhiana, September 25, 2024; A 2020 batch officer of the Indian Administrative Service (IAS) Dr Harjinder Singh today joined as the Additional Deputy Commissioner (Rural Development) in Ludhiana.

Singh has been transferred from Patiala where he has been posted as Additional Deputy Commissioner (Rural Development). 
Assuming the charge of his new office, the Additional Deputy Commissioner asked them to perform their duty zealously. He stated that free, fair and peaceful panchayat elections will be ensured in Ludhiana. He mentioned that the administration will ensure elaborate arrangements for these elections.

Singh had also served Ludhiana as SDM West, Assistant Commissioner (UT) in the past.
