Free health check-up camp conducted by NGO Tushar Foundation
A free health check-up camp was conducted by Non-Governmental Organisation(NGO) Tushar Foundation for students of Police Public School, Sec 48, Chandigarh. The NGO arranged this checkup for the school's students in the age bracket of 3-13 years.
Chandigarh, September 10, 2024: A free health check-up camp was conducted by Non-Governmental Organisation(NGO) Tushar Foundation for students of Police Public School, Sec 48, Chandigarh. The NGO arranged this checkup for the school's students in the age bracket of 3-13 years.
"Over 250 students of the school were examined by the team of doctors. This is a start and we will be holding such initiatives not only in the region but also on an all India basis," said Chairman of Tushar Foundation Yadvinder Singh.
Kiranjot Kaur, Director, Tushar Foundation and who is also a Bollywood singer, said, "Our foundation is committed to conducting noble initiatives for the betterment of society and we will continue doing the same."
Principal of Police Public School, Sarabjeet Kaur commended Tushar Foundation and its team for conducting the camp professionally.
Doctors from different clinics and hospitals supported the camp. A general check up of students was done by the medical experts . Not just this, a specialist conducted a check up for any ENT problem too. Separate specialists examined the students' eyes and there was a team of dentists too who looked into problems of teeth.
The team of doctors included Dr. Shivani from Livasa Hospital, Mohali. Dr. HS Dhillon & Dr. Kochar were present from Dhillon Medical Center, Mohali. Apart from these doctors Dr. Raminderjit and Dr. Amardeep Singh from Sri Guru Arjan Dev Ji Dental Clinic, Chandigarh were also present.
