Free Health Checkup Camp organised by NSS Volunteers
On the sixth day of the ongoing 7 Day NSS camp organised in Panjab University, Chandigarh, a free health checkup camp was organised by the volunteers in Chandigarh's village, Khudda Lahora.
Chandigarh, March 26, 2023: On the sixth day of the ongoing 7 Day NSS camp organised in Panjab University, Chandigarh, a free health checkup camp was organised by the volunteers in Chandigarh's village, Khudda Lahora.
As a health specialists, Dr.Anurag Sharma, Heart Disease specialist, Ojas Hospital, Panchkula, Dr. Manju Shri, Faculty hospital and healthcare management, Panjab University were present. Interacting with the local civilians, they tried to educate them about ways of first aid in case of heart related emergencies and ways to protect themselves, afterwards he carried out the diagnosis of all the interested civilians as a part of the camp and guided then on various ways to stay healthy and fit.
The Panjab University G20 team was also present at the venue. The team tried to reach out to the civilians and educate them on the topic of drug abuse, and ways to bring forward the cases of domestic violence in front of the judiciary, two street plays (Nukkad Naatak) were organised in the theme of Drug Addiction Free India & Fit-India, the street play attracted a huge audience and the message was conveyed in the most entertaining and simplistic way
The day ended with various cultural activities, in the presence of NSS programme officers, Dr.Namita Gupta, Dr.Shankar Sehgal, Dr.Manish Sharma, Dr.Naveen Kumar.
