Free Maha Arogya Shibir and Blood Donation Camp organised by social organization Ekata Manch completed successfully
Like every year, this year also a huge 'Free Maha Arogya Shibir, Cancer Screening and Blood Donation Camp' was organised by Shri Ajay Kaul, President of social organization, 'Ekata Manch' on 14 April.
Mumbai, April 15, 2022: Like every year, this year also a huge 'Free Maha Arogya Shibir, Cancer Screening and Blood Donation Camp' was organised by Shri Ajay Kaul, President of social organization, 'Ekata Manch' on 14 April at Children Welfare Centre High School Ground, Yari Road, Andheri (West), Mumbai.
More than 150 different types of doctors participated and thousands of patients were examined. In this camp, eye examination and spectacle distribution, blood test, diseases related to children and women, dental examination, skin disease, ear, nose, throat, ECG, cancer test, ayurvedic treatment etc. were done free of cost. At the same time blood donation camp was also organized. Doctors from Nair Hospital, Cooper Hospital, Sion Hospital and some private doctors also participated. All the doctors and guests who came on this occasion were honored by Ajay Kaul.
Ajay Kaul, President of social organization, 'Ekata Manch' said, "The organization provides all kind of help for operation to those who are poor and needy by organizing such camps continuously for the last 15 years. Medical camp could not be organized for 2 years in between during Corona outbreak, but a lot of medical help was done, which included blood donation camp, distribution of sanitizers and medicines, vaccination drive, food donation, hospitalization, providing ambulance and oxygen facilities, etc. Many such facilities were given free of cost to the people by the organization."
Prashant Kashid, Activity Chairman, Children Welfare Centre High School, said, “In 2007, a young child Saugat was brought to Nepal by his parents, he was suffering from cancer. He along with Ajay ji was undergoing treatment while he was living with Ajay sir. He was so attached to him that he used to introduce him to the people by calling him his son. Unfortunately he passed away after 8 months. Since then, in his memory, we organize such great camps, due to which if someone has any disease then it could be detected and treated on time."
Ajay Kaul, Prashant Kashid,Kishori Pendnekar, Ashok Bhau Jadhav, Shailesh Phadse, Bala Ambedkar, Dr. Zahir Ghazi, Yakub Memon, Dr. Roshan Sheikh, Altaf Khan, Raghunath Kulkarni, Siraj Inamdar, Pratima Khopde, Shailesh Mohite etc, together made the program successful.
