Free mammography cancer screening camp at Meham, 50 women examined

A free mammography cancer screening camp was organized at Punjabi Dharamshala in Meham jointly by LPS Bossard and Dr. Anita Narula Charitable Trust. Meham MLA Balram Dangi was the chief guest, while Social worker and MD of Ransh Kiya Rajendra Bansal was the guest of honor. Social worker and MD of LPS Bossard Rajesh Jain presided over the camp.

Meham, February 28, 2025: A free mammography cancer screening camp was organized at Punjabi Dharamshala in Meham jointly by LPS Bossard and Dr. Anita Narula Charitable Trust. Meham MLA Balram Dangi was the chief guest, while Social worker and MD of Ransh Kiya Rajendra Bansal was the guest of honor. Social worker and MD of LPS Bossard Rajesh Jain presided over the camp.

Chief Guest, MLA Balram Dangi praised the event and said that such events are necessary on a regular basis to keep the females healthy. Guest of honor Rajendra Bansal said that this is a unique initiative to make women aware about cancer and provide them with the best medical advice.

Social worker Rajesh Jain said that the purpose of starting this special bus for mammography is to make women aware about breast cancer. He called upon social organizations to organize such camps in large numbers, especially in rural areas.

Dr. Arjun Narula said that 50 women were examined in this camp. He said that women above 40 years of age should get their mammography done, so that cancer can be detected at an early stage and treated on time. Senior cancer specialists told women in detail about the symptoms and prevention of cancer. MD of Ransh Kiya Motors Preeti Bansal and social worker Anu Balram Dangi also inspired women to join this type of health awareness campaign.
