Dayanand Medical College & Hospital, Ludhiana, in collaboration with NFL, Nangal organized a Free Medical Camp on Sunday, March 30, 2025, at NFL Hospital, Sector 4, Naya Nangal.

Ludhiana, March 30,2025: Dayanand Medical College & Hospital, Ludhiana, in collaboration with NFL, Nangal organized a Free Medical Camp on Sunday, March 30, 2025, at NFL Hospital, Sector 4, Naya Nangal.
 
The medical camp witnessed an overwhelming response, benefitting approx. 2318 patients with consultation by super specialist doctors of Cardiology, Neuro Surgery, Gastroenterology, Endocrinology, Nephrology, Ophthalmology, Paediatrics, Dermatology, ENT, and Obstetrics & Gynaecology, . Physiotherapy and Dietitian consultation was also provided to the patients. Health tips were provided to the attendees.
 
During the medical camp patient were provided with free prescribed medicines.
 
Needy patients screened during the camp will be provided free cataract surgery (including lens and medicines) at DMC&H, Ludhiana and free ECHO at DMC&H Hero Heart Centre.
The patient were also provided with free ECG, Blood Sugar, Bone Densitometry and Blood pressure check-up.

The camp was inaugurated by M N Goyal, Chief General Manager & Unit head NFL Nangal & Sh. Bipin Gupta, Secretary, DMC&H Managing Society.

In his inaugural address M N Goyal, Chief General Manager & Unit head NFL Nangal expressed his gratitude to DMC&H Management, Doctors and Staff members for organizing such a large-scale medical camp for the first time at NFL Hospital, Nangal. He acknowledged the hospital’s commitment for providing top-notch healthcare services free to the general public as a part of hospitals outreach program and extended his appreciation for DMC&H for their dedication in community welfare.

Bipin Gupta Secretary, DMC&H Managing Society, while addressing the gathering thanked NFL management, NFL Employee union and Nangal residents for their selfless whole hearted participation to make this camp a success. He emphasized that DMC&H’s is committed for providing best medical care at affordable price and as a part of outreach program the hospital is performing various activities free of cost to the general public and free medical camps are a part of this initiative. He also said that the hospital is presently 1,625 bedded and is in the process to increasing the bed capacity to 5,000 beds. Similarly the number of MBBS seats is set to expand from 100 to 500 in the near future. He reaffirmed DMC&H’s dedication to community service through charitable initiatives such as free medical camps. He said that DMC&H is ready to hold such free medical camps at NFL hospital, Nangal on a periodical basis if the NFL management approves the same.
