French Delegation visits PU
The members interacted with the faculty of UIET and discussed the possible academic and research collaborative programmes
Chandigarh, December 22, 2021: A French Delegation, a part of the French Embassy in India visited the University of Engineering and Technology (UIET), Panjab University, Chandigarh.
The delegation consisted of Dr. Fabien Chareix, Attaché for Scientific and Academic Cooperation, French Embassy in India, Mr. Baptiste Fondin, Project Manager – Scientific and Academic Cooperation, Leah Maria Therese Paul, Project Manager – Academic Partnerships & Alumni, Ophelie Belin, Director Alliance Francoise, Chandigarh and Nidhi Chopra, Manager Campus France, Chandigarh. From PU, Prof. Deepti Gupta, Dean International Students, Prof. J.K.Goswamy, Director, UIET and Dr. Rohit Sharma, Chairperson, Microbial Biotechnology, interacted with the delegation.
The members interacted with the faculty of UIET and discussed the possible academic and research collaborative programmes and planned to draw a roadmap for different joint ventures. The delegation visited different laboratories in UIET and were appreciative of the facilities available.
