Frequency of Jalandhar–Hoshiarpur railway passenger train be increased

Hoshiarpur, February 3, 2013: Tarlok Kumar Kakkar, a Senior Officer in Punjab Irrigation Department and working in Punjab Water Resources Maintenance And Development Corporation Limited while taking to this correspondent said that the Union Railway Minister should increase the Frequency of the Passenger/DMU Railway Train between Jalandhar – Hoshiarpur.

Adding, Kakkar said the Super Fast Train running between Nanded Sahib and Amritsar the coaches of the train be increased and the Railway should propose another train from Pathankot to Nanded Sahib keeping in view the rush of the passengers.

He said thousands of passengers daily travel to Nanded Sahib and Shirdi to pay their obeisance. As the present waiting list in the Amritsar-Nanded Sahib is in hundreds every day during the peak season.

He said that additional A.C. Three Tier Coach be also attached with Kashmir Mail from Hoshiarpur to Delhi.
