In January 2024, Mintu lost his father, who had been suffering from multiple health issues. During his illness, the family had to put their ancestral land on mortgage to cover medical expenses. This land, which held immense sentimental value for Mintu and his family, was the last remaining piece of his father’s legacy. Now, he has come to KBC with a simple but urgent goal; he needs one lakh rupees to retrieve his father’s land and keep his family’s legacy intact. While Mintu had come on the show with the hopes of winning 1 lakh to retrieve the mortgaged land, his determination and intelligence take him to the 50-lakh rupees question, which he will be seen attempting in the Friday episode.
During his conversation with the legendary host, Amitabh Bachchan, the two share an inspiring moment about the esteemed Indian freedom fighter and diplomat, Vijaya Lakshmi Pandit. Mr. Bachchan recounts a story from her childhood, saying, “One day, when Vijaya Lakshmi Pandit was a little girl, she was playing and sitting under a tree when a snake appeared.
