FSAI organises seminar on fire safety in industrial buildings
Fire & Security Association of India (FSAI) Chandigarh Chapter & Chamber of Industrial & Commercial Undertakings (CICU) organized a seminar on “Fire Safety in Industrial Buildings” at CICU Complex, Ludhiana.
Ludhiana, June 8, 2024: Fire & Security Association of India (FSAI) Chandigarh Chapter & Chamber of Industrial & Commercial Undertakings (CICU) organized a seminar on “Fire Safety in Industrial Buildings” at CICU Complex, Ludhiana. Chandigarh Chapter caters to all north Indian states like Punjab, Chandigarh, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh and Jammu & Kashmir. It is pertinent to mention here that Fire & Security Association of India is a non-profit organisation established in 2002 representing the Fire Protection, Life Safety, Security, Building Automation, Loss Prevention, risk management domains and women safety. It has chapters at 25 locations all over India.
Upkar Singh Ahuja President – CICU (Chamber of Industrial & Commercial Undertakings) lauded the efforts of FSAI for creating awareness and sharing knowledge through experts about safety and security in Industrial buildings.
FSAI Chairman for Students Chapters & MoUs Surinder Bahga explained the role of this organisation in building a safe India. Eminent speakers Rajnish Aggarwal & Jasjeet Suri gave their presentation on Fire Safety in Industrial Buildings & Basics of Fire Safety.
According to Jasjyot Singh, President - FSAI Chandigarh Chapter “Industrial buildings need to adopt fire safety norms & security measures. This seminar was organized to create awareness in Ludhiana”
The seminar was attended by more than 60 professionals including architects, engineers and consultants etc. Others who spoke on the occasion include Architect Deepika Sharma.
