Full dress rehearsal for Republic Day Function

Madan Mohan Mittal to take the salute from March past on 26th January; Guru Nanak Stadium to host the district level function
Ludhiana, January 24, 2017: Full dress rehearsal was done at the Guru Nanak stadium to review the arrangements for the district level Republic Day celebrations to be held on 26 January. Deputy Commissioner Sh.Ravi Bhagat unfurled the National Flag and took the salute from march past in the rehearsal. Punjab Police and NCC teams from various schools participated in the march past and saluted the National Flag. The complete march past was under the observation of Police Official Sh.Ramandeep Singh Bhullar. Sh.Bhagat intimated that Cabinat Minister of Punjab, Sh.Madan Mohan Mittal would be the chief guest and take the salute from the march past. He further told that a cultural programme showing the national integrity and the rich cultural heritage will be presented. School children will also present P.T.Show and Lazium. Deputy Commissioner of Police Sh. Mandeep Singh Sandhu, Additional Deputy Commissioner (G) Sh. Mohinderpal Gupta, Additional Deputy Commissioner (w) Ms. Apneet Riyat, Assistant Commissioner (G) Smt. Swati Tiwana and many other famous personalities were also present on the occasion.
