Funds to be provided for beautification of parks to PMCs under Punjab Nirman Programme: Bharat Bhushan Ashu
Ashu holds meeting with park management committees of 3 wards at his office today
Ludhiana, November 9, 2021: Punjab Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Minister Bharat Bhushan Ashu today said that the Park Management Committees in Ludhiana (West) area would be provided funds under the Punjab government’s Punjab Nirman Programme (PNP) for the beautification and upgradation of parks. He also reiterated the firm commitment of Charanjit Singh Channi led state government to ensure holistic development of Ludhiana.
Presiding over meetings with various park management committees from wards 67, 68 and 70, Ashu accompanied by Municipal Councillors Mamta Ashu, Baljinder Singh Bunty and Dilraj Singh said that said that the Punjab government is leaving no stone unturned to give impetus to the overall development of Ludhiana. He said that under the Punjab Nirman Programme (PNP), funds would be provided to the PMCs shortly.
He said that special emphasis has been given on developing several new green belts, construction of Sidhwan Water Front project and parks in Ludhiana (West) constituency. Batting for optimum utilization of government funds, he said that it will ensure that money is spent in the right direction.
