Dharamshala, April 20, 2023: The second day of the G-20 Research and Innovation Initiative Gathering (RIIG) Conference on ‘Eco-Innovation for Energy Transitions’ was a delightful experience for the participants. They had the opportunity to explore the picturesque tea gardens of Dharamsala, which included tea plucking, a visit to the factory, and tea tasting. The live demonstration at the gardens was a highlight, and the hospitality of the staff was greatly appreciated.

Apart from the tea gardens, the participants also visited the Kangra Arts Museum, where they witnessed talented artists performing live kangra painting.

Earlier in the morning, the dignitaries had a Yoga Session at Hotel Radisson Blu in Dharamsala, which was coordinated by the Department of AYUSH. Due to rain, the session was conducted indoors, but it was still a refreshing start to the day.

Last night after the conclusion of the single-day G20 Research and Innovation Initiative Gathering (RIIG) Conference on Eco-Innovations for Energy Transition on April 19th in Dharamshala, all 29 foreign delegates and 30 Indian experts and invitees from various scientific departments and organizations of the government of India attended a Gala Dinner at the HPCA stadium premises. The event was a great success and provided an opportunity for the participants to network and exchange ideas.

As the dignitaries of this G20 meet prepare to leave Dharamsala on Friday, they will take with them fond memories of the beautiful tea gardens, the Kangra Arts Museum, and the warm hospitality of the people of Dharamsala.
