Galgotias University proudly announces the launch of the GBN Communication App, a revolutionary tool designed to facilitate the voting process for citizens of Gautam Buddha Nagar in the Lok Sabha Elections 2024. Developed by third-year students from the School of Computer Science and Engineering, Skand Gupta, Aryan Rai, and Ankit Verma, under the guidance of Shri Manish Kumar Verma, the Honourable District Magistrate of Gautam Buddha Nagar, this app promises to revolutionise the way voters engage with the electoral process.
Chandigarh, April 26, 2024: Galgotias University proudly announces the launch of the GBN Communication App, a revolutionary tool designed to facilitate the voting process for citizens of Gautam Buddha Nagar in the Lok Sabha Elections 2024. Developed by third-year students from the School of Computer Science and Engineering, Skand Gupta, Aryan Rai, and Ankit Verma, under the guidance of Manish Kumar Verma, the District Magistrate of Gautam Buddha Nagar, this app promises to revolutionise the way voters engage with the electoral process.
The GBN Communication App is a comprehensive platform that empowers voters by providing essential information at their fingertips. Through the app, users can easily locate their polling booth, access details of Booth Level Officers (BLO), Thana, Sector Magistrate, Electoral Registration Officer (ERO), and Assistant Electoral Registration Officer (AERO). The app also features a user-friendly map interface, allowing voters to navigate to their designated booths seamlessly.
One of the standout features of the app is its support for both Hindi and English languages, ensuring accessibility for a diverse range of users. Moreover, the app offers voice input functionality, enabling users to search for their polling booth effortlessly. In times of emergency, users can swiftly access important contact information with a single tap, ensuring a swift response to any unforeseen situations.
