Volunteers participate in 7-days NSS Camp being held at GGS College of Education, Talwandi Sabi.
Talwandi Sabo, January 4, 2015: Guru Gobind Singh college of Education, Talwandi Sabo inaugurated 7-days NSS Camp with full zeal and enthusiasm. Dr.D.R Godara Dean Student welfare of Guru Kashi University was the chief guest of the inaugural function.
Programme Officer Khuspreet Kaur welcomed all the guest and volunteers. She also gave detailed information of the works to be carried out during the coming seven days. Volunteers would participate in activities such as tree plantation, cleanliness campaign and awareness programme.
Chief Guest Dr.Godara said that such camps play important role in the student life and thereafter as well because this creates social awareness, moral values, cooperation and integration.
Principal of school section Prof. Jagwinder Singh delivered vote of thanks and motivated the volunteers to give their best efforts towards camp.
During the first day activities chief guest along with Hardeep Singh, Prof. Kamaljeet Singh, Prof. Paramjodh Singh Madam Kuldeep Kaur, Madam Amarjot Kaur and volunteers planted trees in the Campus. Arashdeep Kaur compared the whole programme.
Dr. A. K. Kansal congratulated the organisers and the volunteers for this activity.
