Ghanoli-Nalagarh road construction to be completed within time frame: Manish Tewari
Other roads will also be strengthened for the development of the area
Rupnagar, November 16, 2021: Fulfilling the prolonged demand of the area, Mr. Manish Tewari, Member Parliament today inaugurated the Ghanoli-Nalagarh (Himachal Pradesh Border) Road to be constructed with the cost of Rs. 6.97 crore.
On this occasion, Mr. Tewari instructed the officials of PWD to complete the construction of this road within six months. He said that the Major District Road-59 will provide immense benefit to the people and industries of the area.
Mr. Tewari said that apart from this road other roads would also be strengthened for the development of the area.
He said that Ghanoli-Nalagarh Road up to Himachal Pradesh Border (MDR-59), is being constructed under CRIF scheme 2021-22 and the length of this road is 3 km and width is 10 m.
He further said that the work of this road has been started on a war footing and this work would be completed within the stipulated time frame.
Among others PYC President Barinder Singh Dhillon, PLIDB Chairman Pawan Dewan, Amarjit Singh Saini, Gurwinder Billa, Surinder Singh Hari Pur, Bal Kishan Bittu, Sarabjit Singh Sarpanch Ghanoli, Ravi Verma were also present.
