GHG Khalsa College Gurusar Sadhar conducted “Zing `N’ Zeal” successfully
More than 600 students participated
Ludhiana, January 28, 2022: Guru Hargobind Khalsa College, Gurusar Sadhar, Ludhiana conducted academic and cultural competitions for the students of the schools. The event witnessed brilliant and enthusiastic performances by the students who toiled hard to bag the accolades for their talents. The various online platforms, created especially for the event, were jam-packed with creativity, passion and vibrancy. The mega fiesta was organized to provide the students an opportunity to interact with likeminded people, engage with a large group of their peers, and build bonds over a shared interest. It also intended to teach them to overcome shyness and hesitancy, and to develop crucial social skills. More than 600 students participated in these competitions. These students of various schools performed outside their comfort zones during "Zing ‘n’ Zeal" - 2022 and discovered hidden talents within themselves.
In his address, the college Principal, Dr. Harpreet Singh, talked about the long tradition of organising such programs and Youth Festivals in the college campus. He further said that this would be a wonderful opportunity for the students of the schools to experience the platform of college curricular activities.
Manjit Singh Gill (President) and Dr. S.S. Thind (Secretary) of College Governing Body said that the students in this global competitive environment cannot survive with only bookish knowledge. They need to develop their personality through extra-curricular activities to enable them to get equipped for working in the ever demanding corporate world. They congratulated teachers and students for successfully continuing its tradition of providing a platform to the school students for showcasing their talents.
Prof. Jaswant Singh Goraya and Dr. Rajinder Singh Sahil, conveners of the event, encouraged the students to work on their personality traits for the attainment of an enhanced self.
