Chandigarh, April 28, 2025: Government Home Science College, Chandigarh, took a creative stand against drug abuse by installing a symbolic “Tree of Life” on campus, which is depicting the collective wishes of students to make Chandigarh drug free.

Students wrote heartfelt messages expressing their hopes for a drug-free world and decorated the tree with vibrant artwork and wishes. Their active participation reflected deep commitment to creating a healthy and positive environment.

Principal Prof. Sudha Katyal lauded the efforts of the VADA Club and NSS Wing for spearheading the event. She emphasized the pivotal role of youth in spreading awareness and inspiring social change, adding that such activities not only educate but also empower students to work towards a drug-free India and build a brighter, healthier future.
