Chandigarh, October 11, 2023: A captivating Pottery Making Workshop was organised by Department of Human Development for the tiny tots of Chaitanya Laboratory Nursery School as well as students of the department.
The resource person of the workshop was Bali Mohamad, a local potter from Kansal village. The students were filled with exuberance as they got their first-hand experience in witnessing the making of various items such as earthen lamp, lantern, jar, pitcher, tea-cup, flower pot etc. Furthermore, the workshop was incredibly therapeutic as it created a calming experience for teachers, students & tiny tots.
Principal of the college, Prof.Sudha Katyal appreciated the efforts of the department in organising such workshops. Furthermore, she emphasised that pottery making in itself is fascinating where students can explore creativity and benefit from it.
