The session was aimed to educate the students and faculty about these laws.
Madhu P. Singh (Ex- Justice, Punjab & Haryana High Court, Chandigarh) was the resource person. She is also currently serving as a Practising Advocate at Punjab & Haryana High Court, Chandigarh and a Proud Alumni of our college. She highlighted about the salient features of the BNS, BNSS, and BSA, the differences in the sections of the old and new acts followed by additional provisions in the new acts in a very interesting and simplified manner.
Students attended the session with great zeal and enthusiasm.
Principal of the college, Prof. Sudha Katyal applauded the efforts of the coordinators and stressed upon the significance of organising such sessions. She further highlighted the fact that ‘Law enforcement agencies’ alone cannot ensure a just society, active participation and awareness among citizens is equally indispensable.
