GHSC-10 releases annual newsletter highlighting glorious achievements 

Chandigarh, September 30, 2024: Government Home Science College, Chandigarh has officially released its annual newsletter, showcasing the remarkable achievements of students, faculty as well as staff for the academic session 2023-24.

The newsletter featured glorious progress made by the college including impressive community service initiatives, partnerships with local organizations and an overview of events that fostered a vibrant campus culture. The newsletter was released by Honourable Sh. Abhijeet Vijay Chaudhari, IAS, Education Secretary, Chandigarh Administration.  

Principal of the college, Prof. Sudha Katyal while presenting the annual newsletter to Chaudhari expressed pride in the accomplishments of college, stating, “This past year has been a testament to our commitment to excellence in education, innovation and community engagement as the college created history in the third cycle of the NAAC assessment and got A++ Grade with an outstanding score of 3.56. Nevertheless, the college has been ranked at 51st position in NIRF India Rankings (MoE, GOI) 2024. Consequently, the information featured in our newsletter reflect the hard work and dedication of our students and staff.”

In addition, the newsletter also outlines the college's expanded academic resources, enhanced campus facilities, and increased efforts toward sustainability. She further expressed her gratitude to Education Department, Chandigarh Administration for extending student support services to ensure a thriving educational environment.
