Gian Jyoti Global School celebrated World Earth Day

Mohali, April 21, 2019: Gian Jyoti Global School celebrated World Earth Day at its campus in phase-2, Mohali on April 20. On the occasion a special assembly was conducted to create awareness about the necessity of conserving the beauty of Mother Earth. A rally was also organized by Gian Jyoti School Students on the occasion conveying the hazardous effects of using plastic bags. Students narrated the slogans during the rally such as Go Green before Green Goes; Save Earth, Save Water and Save Resources when they marched n the streets of Mohali.

Mrs. Ranjeet Bedi, Principal, Gian Jyoti Global School flagged off the rally, speaking on the occasion she said that the students made effective use of props and posters showing various human activities which have spoiled the beauty of our planet earth.

Mrs. Bedi further said that a plantation drive was conducted by students who made effective use of props to emphasize on the importance of Reduce, Reuse and Recycle.

During the special assembly students of class X and XI performed a street play on the theme of ‘Save Water-Save Earth’. The assembly conducted on a happy note highlighting the message. Let’s make our Mother Earth a greener, cleaner and safer world, Mrs. Bedi, added.
