Mohali, August 22, 2024: Gillco International School has once again demonstrated its prowess on the sports field, with both the Under-17 girls' and Under-19 boys' basketball teams achieving remarkable success at the District Basketball Tournament (SGFI). The event, held at Learning Path School, Sector 67, Mohali, saw the school’s athletes showcasing exceptional talent and teamwork.
The Under-17 girls' team delivered an outstanding performance, triumphing over Mullanpur Zone and securing their place in the semifinals. Equally impressive was the Under-19 boys' team, who dominated the court against Dera Bassi Zone, also advancing to the semifinals. These victories reflect the students' hard work, determination, and the school's commitment to fostering excellence in sports.
